IPL: Teams with most No Results & Ties in a single season – Updated List

A combined total of 23 games in the history of the IPL have ended in no result or tie.

Rajasthan Royals: 2015 - 2 (one tied, one no-result)

2015 was a season where Rajasthan Royals pipped Kolkata Knight Riders to secure fourth place. RR's seven wins were accompanied by a game which was lost in the Super Over, a game abandoned, and a no result contest.

RR were at the wrong end of the Super Over during their game against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in Ahmedabad. Both sides ended up on 191/6 at the end of their stipulated 20 overs. Left-handed Shaun Marsh registered 65 (40) to earn the Player of the Match award. Both the sides ended up losing couple of wickets in the Super Over. However, KXIP scored nine runs in excess of RR's tally (15/2 vs 6/2). Both the innings of the Super Over involved a run-out.

Games against KKR and RCB on April 26 and April 29 ended up being abandoned without a ball being bowled and as a no result, respectively. The match at the Eden Gardens did not see any action. On the other hand, the game against RCB could produce only one innings. RCB ended up posting 200/7 after being asked to bat first. The match is remembered for Sarfaraz Khan lighting up the Chinnawamy with a splendid 45* (21).
