4. Paul Valthaty

Paul Valthaty was one of the promising batters in the Indian domestic circuit. He took the 2011 season of the Indian Premier League by storm with his breathtaking performances. The Mumbai-born took the attack to the opposition right from the get-go and provided Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) with crackling starts consistently.

When Punjab locked horns with Chennai Super Kings in the ninth match of IPL 2011, Valthaty hammered the CSK bowlers all across the park and smashed 120* runs off 63 deliveries. Courtesy of the blistering century, the Punjab franchise chased down the target of 189 in 19.1 overs.

Valthaty featured in 14 matches in the fourth IPL edition and aggregated 463 runs at a strike rate of 136.98. Also, he was handy with the ball and took seven wickets in those outings. Hiss last appearance in the cash-rich league came in 2013.
