4. Virat Kohli
India batting legend Virat Kohli is doing wonders with his bat in this competition. The star player is the leading run-getter in the tournament, notching up 594 runs with two centuries and five fifties in nine contests. In Chennai, when India were three down at a score of two against Australia, Kohli emerged as a rescuer along with KL Rahul.
In his maiden World Cup 2023 game, he held his nerves to help his team pull off the target of 200 runs in 41.2 overs. KL Rahul became the Player of the Match for his 97-run innings but Kohli also received appreciation for supporting his colleague with his outstanding 85-run knock.
At the iconic Eden Gardens, India bagged a heavy 243-run victory against South Africa and Kohli hit a fabulous ton and equalled Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries. In the semi-final against New Zealand, Team India supporters will expect a solid knock from their star batter.
