10. Mustafizur Rahman
Mustafizur Rahman has failed to justify his role in this World Cup. In this tournament, he was expected to utilise his experience to help the Bangla side have a decent campaign. However, Rahman is completely out of rhythm in this competition, claiming only four wickets in seven matches.
In the third week, Bangladesh locked horns with India in Pune. Batting first, the Bangla batters hoarded 256 runs on the board against India’s tight bowling. Bangladesh failed to save the total as their pace attack completely lacked discipline. Spearheading the fast-bowling unit, Mustafizur could not pick up any wickets and leaked 29 runs in his five overs.
Against South Africa, the Shakib Al Hasan-led team faced a 149-run loss. In this game, Mustifizur bowled nine overs and got hammered for 76 runs without getting any wickets.
