2. New Zealand - 9/10
New Zealand are playing quality cricket in this tournament and they might cause problems for other sides in their upcoming games. Following the inaugural contest against England, the Black Caps grabbed a lot of eyeballs for achieving a target of 283 runs in just 36.2 overs and registering a sensational nine-wicket win.
While chasing the challenging total, Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra took England’s bowling unit to the cleaners. Both batters stitched an unbeaten 273-run partnership and took their team home comfortably. Conway notched up a 152-run innings off just 121 while Ravindra also scored his maiden ODI ton.
Taking their bright form ahead, the Kiwi team registered a 99-run win against the Netherlands as well. Against the Dutch side, Will Young shone with the bat with his 70 off 80 while Ravindra again looked dominating with his 51-run innings. Tom Latham played a captain’s knock of 53 off 46.
