In their maiden 2023 World Cup contest in Delhi, they outplayed Sri Lanka by a massive margin of 102 runs. On Delhi’s batting track, the Protea batters came heavily on Sri Lanka bowlers.
Almost after eight years, South Africa got three centuries in an innings of an ODI match, with the scintillating tons of Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram against the 1996 World Cup champions.
