4. Sachin Tendulkar and Saeed Ajmal duel in Cricket World Cup 2011 Semi-Final
Nothing can beat the magnitude of an India-Pakistan match that too in a World Cup SemiFinal match at Mohali. The match saw India off to a brilliant start courtesy of Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. India just lost their first wicket and Shahid Afridi brought his trump card Saeed Ajmal into the attack.
Saeed caught Tendulkar off guard in the 11th over itself. The stand-in umpire Ian Gould raised his finger and it looked like Tendulkar had to walk back. But he insisted upon taking a review and luck favoured him. The hawk-eye showed it missed the leg stumps and the roar around the stadium went sky high.
All Pakistani players were dazzled by that outcome, they thought at least it would be the umpire's call. They still believe they're deprived of Tendulkar's wicket. From there on Sachin riding on his luck went to score 85 runs that day and took the game away from Pakistan. Still, Saeed Ajmal remembers that incident like it happened yesterday and robbed him of the World Cup.
