4. Tamim Iqbal (BAN)- 3 Ducks
Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has amassed three ducks in his ODI World Cup career. In the 2011 World Cup, he got dismissed twice on a nought. For the first time, he got out on a zero against the West Indies in Mirpur. The game is known for Bangladesh’s infamous nine-wicket loss against the Caribbeans.
Tamim also failed in that contest, throwing his wicket on the third delivery of the game. After the match against the Windies team, Tamim again failed to open his account against the Netherlands in Chattogram. This time, he fell on the fourth delivery of the match while chasing 161 for his side.
In the 2015 World Cup, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka locked horns at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and the latter gave a target of 333 to the former. While chasing the massive target, Tamim surrendered on a zero in front of Laith Malinga on the second ball of the innings.
