5. Sri Lanka versus England in 2011- 2
In the World Cup 2011, Sri Lanka and England locked horns with each other in the fourth Quarter-Final played in Colombo. Winning the toss, England captain Andrew Strauss elected to bat first. Taking advantage of home conditions, Sri Lanka bowlers restricted the visitors to 229.
From the English side, Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell looked decent with their bats, scoring 86 (115) and 50 (55) respectively. Following the average total, Sri Lanka openers Upul Tharanga and Tilakaratne Dilshan came heavily on England bowlers.
