The Pakistan Super League 2025 will take place from April 11 to May 18, clashing with the Indian Premier League to be staged from March 22 to May 25. This means that a lot of the players who will be part of IPL 2025 cannot be part of the PSL. With players being injured and replacements named by IPL teams there could be a chance that players who were picked up PSL 2025 draft can switch to IPL 2025.
Corbin Bosch has already made the move as he was initially set to play for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL but opted to withdraw after being selected as a replacement player for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. We can expect a few more players who can go down the same route.
Here are the three players who were picked in PSL draft but can switch for IPL 2025:
3. Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson was picked up by Karachi Kings in the supplementary Round 1 for PSL 2025. He looked in great form in the recently concluded Champions Trophy and also did well for Durban Super Giants in SA20 where he scored 233 runs in eight matches at an average of 46.
Kane Williamson has managed to play just 3 IPL matches in the last few years with Gujarat Giants mainly due to injuries but his overall IPL career record is pretty good scoring 2128 runs in 79 IPL matches. Kane Williamson provides a solid option in the middle order and can come back to the IPL if any spot opens up.
