3. New Zealand T20 World Cup retro jersey
New Zealand Cricket had an impressive retro-inspired jersey for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, drawing inspiration from their iconic 1999 Cricket World Cup kit. The newest jersey featured a mix of teal and heritage grey, reflecting the early 90s, with minimal use of the traditional black. The only black element was the bold "New Zealand" text placed across the front on a white background. Moving away from the classic fern graphic, the kit included the Southern Cross, symbolic of New Zealand’s heritage and identity.
Though the team got significant attention for their jersey, their on-field performance wasn't as pleasing. Placed in Group C, the Kiwis failed to qualify for the Super Eight stage as they lost two out of their four league games, including a historic defeat at the hands of Afghanistan.
