8. Mitchell Starc (7.3/10)
Mitchell Starc has been active for Australia in Test cricket since December 2011 and currently, he is the most experienced pacer in the team. In the last decade, he was the second-most successful bowler for Australia in cricket’s oldest format with 240 wickets in 107 innings of 56 Tests.
Starc showcased his mettle with the ball in the Ashes 2015 played in England. In Australia's unsuccessful campaign, he bagged 18 wickets in nine innings of five Tests and concluded the series as the second-leading wicket-taker. In Australia’s 2017 Ashes victory, he again played a vital role with the ball.
This time, he scalped 22 wickets in eight innings of four matches and became the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. Australia whitewashed Pakistan in a two-match Test series in 2019 at home. Starc took 14 wickets in the series and guided his side to the victory.
