9. 'Where is Rishabh Pant', reply to the media during the 2019 World Cup

In the 2019 World Cup, Rohit looked in a great rhythm with his bat. During the competition, he delivered a lot of match-winning knocks to Team India. Appearing in nine matches in the competition, he notched up 648 runs with five tons and a fifty. With these numbers, he ended up as the leading run-getter in the tournament.

After Shikhar Dhawan got ruled out of the tournament, Rishabh Pant was drafted into India’s 15-member squad to replace the southpaw. In the match against England in Edgbaston, Pant broke into India’s playing XI.
