IPL 2023: Top 3 players to watch out for RR vs SRH clash

After losing their last two matches, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will look to get their rhythm back against shaky Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium. Currently, the Pink Army is in the fourth spot on the points table with five wins and five losses. With intense competition on the points chart, the Sanju Samson-led side will have to rake in two points against the visitors.

While, for SRH, the defeat in this clash will almost throw them out of the Playoffs race. 3. Heinrich Klaasen

Going through their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 journey so far, Sunrisers don’t have much to cheer about. However, their wicketkeeper batter Heinrich Klassen has something to flaunt as the Protea has produced a few impactful knocks from his bat. With 189 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 181.73, the right-handed batter is the second-highest run-getter for his team.

In his last two games, Klaasen exuded confidence with his scores of unbeaten 53 and 36 against Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) respectively. Against DC at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, his team emerged victorious by nine runs and he played a rapid 53-run knock off 27 deliveries to help his team post 197/6 on the board.

While against KKR in Hyderabad, his team ended up on the losing side but the 31-year-old’s swift 36 off just 20 ensured Sunrisers to give a tough time to Knight Riders till the end. In the do-do-die game against Royals, SRH will expect Klaasen to take RR’s quality bowling unit to the cleaners.
