3. Najmul Hossain Shanto

The young opening batter made his T20I debut in 2019 but has cemented a place in the squad since 2021. In 98 T20s, Shanto has garnered 1952 runs, while registering two centuries in the process. The key reason for his inclusion in the T20I squad is due to his first-class form, wherein he has close to 4000 runs at an average of 39.68, with 10 centuries.

In 12 T20Is, the southpaw has mustered 204 runs, with a top score of 40. The 24-year-old garnered 56 runs in three games of the recent Tri-series. His only notable knock of 33 off 29 came against New Zealand, which helped Bangladesh to post a respectable total on the board.

Shanto is certainly the future of Bangladesh cricket, given his strong showing in domestic cricket. The top-order batter has a run-scoring appetite and with a little more experience, he can surely deliver goods to the team and help them progress in the shortest format.
