Kohli's knock against England was his 22nd fifty-plus score in World Cup tournaments (ODI and T20) and with this knock surpassed Sachin's 21 50-plus record. In the first match against Pakistan, Kohli smashed his 24th 50-plus knock in the ICC tournaments, breaking Sachin's 23 50-plus scores record.
