Virat Kohli finally managed to silence his critics and roar back to form in the Asia Cup 2022 where he finished as the second highest-run getter amassing 276 runs in five innings. Virat ended his nearly three-year century drought with a blistering 122* against Afghanistan in India's final Super 4 encounter. It also happened to be his maiden ton in the shortest format and 71st in international cricket.
After that, Kohli played match-winning knocks in the subsequent home series. He scored an unbeaten 63 against Australia in the third T20I and then scored a vital unbeaten 49 in the second T20I against South Africa.
