4. Michael Bracewell
Michael Bracewell has been a consistent performer for New Zealand from the time he arrived in the international arena. The 31-year-old has been exceptional with both bat and ball. In the ODIs, he has scored 264 runs in 12 games at a strike rate of 110.92 and bagged 10 wickets at an economy of 5.09. When it comes to T20Is, the ace all-rounder has smashed 90 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 183.67 and picked 17 wickets at a superb economy of 5.24.
Courtesy of his incredible showings, Bracewell made it to the national squad for the ongoing T20 World Cup. Unfortunately, the presence of veteran spinners such as Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi in the squad has denied him a game at the global tournament.
However, he could get the opportunity in the encounter against Pakistan in place of James Neesham. The veteran all-rounder has managed to score just 11 runs in his last three games of the marquee tournament. Also, the semi-final game is to be held in Sydney, where spinners have got a considerable amount of purchase. Hence, Bracewell might pip Neesham for a spot in the starting XI.
