T20 World Cup 2022: 5 bowlers who could bowl the fastest ball in the tournament
There are some top-quality bowlers who can set the speed gun on fire at the global event.
4. Haris Rauf
Haris Rauf has been a consistent performer for Pakistan in the shortest format of the game. He has played 50 T20Is and bagged 64 scalps at an economy of 8.25. The 28-year-old is known to rattle the opposition with his searing pace and can clock 150 kmph consistently.
The ace pacer was breathing fire in the recently concluded T20I series against Pakistan. Rauf out-gunned batters with his wild pace and shattered a lot of stumps. He even bowled a 156 kph to Reece Topley and the latter had no clue whatsoever. The Pakistan pacer was the highest wicket-taker in the series with eight scalps to his name in six games.
Rauf has been at the top of his game of late and there are high chances of the speedster clocking the highest speed at the T20 World Cup. On the other hand, the team management would hope he continues his good form in the global tournament.
