4. Tim David (Australia)

Tim David is one of the ferocious strikers of the cricket ball in the shortest format of the game and is known to tonk the ball many a miles. The 26-year-old has played 132 T20 games and amassed 2841 runs at a strike rate of 162.46 which includes 173 maximums.

David’s power-hitting ability was on display during the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. He represented Mumbai Indians in eight matches and scored at a strike rate of 216.28. In those outings, he hit 16 maximums.

Among those sixes, David struck a gigantic 114 m six off Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer T Natarajan. The ace-finisher has shown that he can smash maximums with ease and when he hits them they stays hit. Thus, he can very well go on to break Yuvraj’s record in the forthcoming global event.
