3. Pace trio
Australia's pace trio of Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins has been responsible for the Aussie dominance in the last few years. It's never easy for the batters to play against the Australian pace trio, thanks to the sheer pace of Starc and Cummins mixed with the accuracy and movement of Hazlewood. There's always fear in the eyes of the opponents when these three steam into bowl.
Hazlewood is the best T20I bowler currently as per the latest ICC T20I Bowlers Rankings. Since T20 World Cup 2021, Hazlewood has taken 32 wickets in just 20 games at an average of just over 16. He is going to be the bowler to watch out for in the tournament.
Starc and Cummins haven't performed extraordinarily since the T20 World Cup 2021, however, the threat is still there. Starc has taken 19 wickets in 14 games in the past year. Cummins, on the other hand, finds himself a little lower down the list with 15 wickets in 16 games.
