1. Arshdeep Singh (IND)

Arshdeep Singh’s stocks have witnessed a meteoric rise in a year or so. The 23-year-old was simply sensational with the ball in the previous two editions of the Indian Premier League which saw him take 28 wickets in 26 games for Punjab Kings at an economy of 7.98 which is remarkable considering he bowls a lot at the death.

The Punjab pacer received an international call-up due to impressive performances in the most lucrative T20 tournament and has carried on his good work for India. Arshdeep has featured in 13 T20Is and bagged 19 wickets at an economy of 8.14.

The left-arm pacer has shown that he can bowl pin-point yorkers at will, making him tough to tackle at the fag end of the innings. Arshdeep has shown incredible temperament on the big stage and has not shied away from bowling crunch overs for Men in Blue. He will hold the cards for India in the death-overs heading into the tournament.
