7. Afghanistan - Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan has been Afghanistan’s wrecker-in-chief in the shortest format of the game. At the last year’s T20 World Cup, he was the team’s highest wicket-taker bagging eight wickets in five games at a sensational economy of 6.24. And in the upcoming marquee event, he can again spin the web around the opposition to be at the top of the wickets chart.

The ace-spinner has been the go-to man for Mohammad Nabi & Co. for crunch phases of the game and Rashid has delivered time and time again. In the international circuit, he has featured in 71 T20 games and taken 118 wickets at an economy of 6.24.

Though the 24-year-old is not a huge turner of the ball, he puts batters under pressure with his speed through the air while maintaining a stump-to-stump line. Rashid is an attacking bowler and does not mind pitching the ball up in search of wickets. The big boundaries in Australia can further aid his style of bowling.
