7. Bangladesh (Afif Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Mossadek Hossain)- 6.5/10
Bangladesh have Afif Hossain, Nurul Hasan, and Mossadek Hossain in their ranks in the middle-order. Afif has caught everyone’s attention with his innovative strokeplay and showed his batting might in the recently concluded T20I series against UAE. The 23-year-old smashed 95 runs in two games at a strike rate of 146.15.
Coming to Nurul, the wicket-keeper batter has been one of the bright prospects in Bangladesh cricket. He is entrusted to play the role of a finisher and has played some crucial knocks for the side. In the UAE series, he struck 54 runs in two games at a strike rate of 154.29.
Last but not the least, the Bangla Tigers have a gem in Mossadek. The flamboyant batter has shown his ability to target any part of the ground. He showed his range in the Asia Cup 2022 which saw him smash 72 runs at an insane strike rate of 180.00 without being dismissed even once.
Though a bit thin on experience, Bangladesh’s middle-order trio has shown a lot of promise and would like to make it big in the marquee tournament.
