At the top of the order, they have the explosiveness of Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Hazratullah Zazai, and Usman Ghani.
Afghanistan have Ibrahim Zadran and Najibullah Zadran to provide solidity in the middle order. Their fire-power at the lower middle-order is a bit of a concern with Nabi who is not in the best of batting forms of late whereas Azmatullah Omarzai has not established himself as a proven performer in the international arena.
The main weapon of Afghanistan has been their spinners and the same will be the case heading into the World Cup. The spinners will have a task cut out as they might need to cover for the inexperienced pace attack of the Blue Tigers.

However, Pakistan's middle order consists of the likes of Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, and Asif Ali who have shown glimpses of their batting might but have failed to deliver on a consistent basis. Shan Masood has been the latest addition to Pakistan’s setup and will be entrusted to provide solidity in the middle order.
The pace attack will be their forte in the World Cup. Haris Rauf has breathed fire in the T20I series against England.&nbsp; Mohammad Hasnain and Naseem Shah also have express pace and will be a handful in seam-friendly conditions of Australia. And with Shaheen Afridi expected to be fit, Pakistan has a fiery pace-attack.
Pakistan has picked Shadab Khan to spearhead the spin-attack with Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Qadir as other capable options. However, the trio turns the ball away from the right-hander making the spin attack rather one-dimensional. Skipper Babar can turn to Iftikhar with his handy off-spin to complement the premier spinners.

New Zealand has been a consistent performer in the multi-nation tournaments reaching the finals of the last three white-ball World Cups and has the team who can threaten to lift the title this time. The squad has a nice blend of youth and experience and can prove to be a handful in Australian conditions.
The Blackcaps have Finn Allen, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/nice-to-do-this-for-him-martin-guptill-dedicates-18th-odi-century-to-his-late-father/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Martin Guptill</a>, and Glenn Phillips to take the bowling apart from the get-go while the likes of Kane Williamson and Devon Conway will provide the stability to the batting lineup. India have one of the best batting lineups at the T20 World Cup. India’s top three comprising skipper Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-news/ind-vs-sa-virat-kohli-selflessly-denies-single-on-49-asks-dinesh-karthik-to-finish/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Virat Kohli</a> are rock-solid and have a combined experience of 317 T20Is. The swashbuckling batter Suryakumar Yadav has been a destructor with the bat in the middle phases of the game and can well be India’s X-factor in the tournament.
The Men in Blue have ace wicket-keeper batters in Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik who have been game-changers with the bat for the team. The think tank has picked a couple of all-rounders such as Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Axar Patel to add to the depth of the side. Hardik is the only seam-bowling all-rounder in the squad and his form will be crucial for Rohit &amp; Co.
India’s bowling is a bit light in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be leading the pace attack and be the main strike force with the new ball. On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel will be entrusted to carry the responsibilities in the death-overs for the number one T20I side. South Africa have assembled a T20 powerhouse for the marquee tournament. On the batting front, they have ace openers Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks to provide them with brisk starts. Then they have a fearsome middle-order having the likes of <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/twitter-reactions-cricket/twitter-reactions-rilee-rossouws-blistering-century-sets-up-a-consolation-win-for-south-africa/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rilee Rossouw</a>, Aiden Markram, and David Miller.
Miller is arguably one of the best finishers in the world at the moment and has able partners in&nbsp;flamboyant Tristan Stubbs and Heinrich Klaasen to finish games for the side. The only point of concern for the Proteas will be the form of their skipper Temba Bavuma who has scored just three runs in the last three games.&nbsp;
South Africa has a fiery pace trio of Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortje who can dismantle any batting lineup on a given day. The team management has picked all-rounders Wayne Parnell and Dwaine Pretorius to add depth to the side. Coming to the spin department, they have the wily Keshav Maharaj and the number two T20I bowler Tabraiz Shamsi.

England were the semi-finalists of the last year’s T20 World Cup and have the arsenal to go all the way this time. They have top-class openers in skipper <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/jos-buttler-named-englands-white-ball-captain/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jos Buttler</a>, Phil Salt, and Alex Hales. The Three Lions also have a formidable middle order consisting of Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Harry Brook, and Liam Livingstone.
One of the strengths of Buttler &amp; Co. is their huge array of all-rounders. They have as many as six players with all-round prowess and this gives flexibility to the skipper to juggle his bowlers on the field. With Chris Jordon and Adil Rashid also able to play handy cameos, England's batting can stretch to number ten.
In the bowling department, England have the luxury of four left-arm pace options in Reece Topley, David Wiley, Sam Curran, and Stokes. They also have Mark Wood to rattle batters with his fiery pace and the veteran Chris Jordan deceive batters with his slower balls. Then comes the ace-spin duo of leg spinner Adil Rashid and off-spinner Moeen Ali who have been a great foil for each other.
