1. Australia : 9/10
Australia have picked almost the similar side that won them their first T20 World title last year. The only change has been the addition of the power-hitter Tim David in place of Mitchell Swepson which have given even more flare to the batting lineup. The Aussies are one of the firm favourities to win the upcoming global tournament.
In the batting department, Australia has solid top-order batters David Warner, skipper Aaron Finch, and Steve Smith at their disposal. Then they have ace all-rounders like Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, and Marcus Stoinis who have been match-winners for their national side. Last but not least they have an intimidating duo in David and Matthew Wade to finish things off on a high.
Coming to Australia’s bowling arsenal, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood are the tone-setters with the new ball and also the go-to pair at the fag end of the innings. Pat Cummins has been the enforcer in the middle overs for the Kangaroos and has done it with perfection. Add to the list, T20 specialist Kane Richardson who has been a consistent performer in the shortest format. In the spin-bowling front, Finch & Co. have Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar to bamboozle the opposition with their variations.
