When it comes to the current team, David Miller, Temba Bavuma, Tristan Stubbs and keeper Quinton De Kock are some of the best fielders in the world. Miller, who can destroy any opponent with the bat is also number one on the list of players with the most catches in the history of T20I cricket. Young Tristan Stubbs didn’t play a lot of international matches, but he is known to be a gun fielder as well. Being a pacer, Kagiso Rabada has also done well in the field.
The problem lies as not a lot of bowlers are great fielders in the squad. Tabraiz Shamsi dropped a lot of easy catches in the past, and Anrich Nortje needs to improve as well. However, this is one such area that the team will not have to think a lot about!

The three lions are absolutely top-notch when it comes to fielding. In the last decade, the England squad have improved a lot when it comes to this department, and credit goes to their former captain Eoin Morgan, who set a proper standard in the team.
The likes of Jos Buttler, Alex Hales, Liam Livingstone and David Malan are terrific on the field. Being a pacer, Chris Jordan is also someone who’s a gun fielder and took some splendid catches in the past. As a team, they are well equipped in all the departments and that makes them one of the favourites to win the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-appeal/t20-world-cup-2022-rating-teams-based-on-their-bowling-prowess/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">T20 World Cup</a> in Australia.
There currently are no drawbacks or no particular areas that the team needs to address. All the players are fit enough to do well and that is one of their biggest strengths for the upcoming T20 World Cup. 
<h3>Pakistan - 5/10</h3>

Even though they are one of the favourites to win the T20 World Cup, Pakistan as a fielding unit are very poor. Shadab Khan, one of their best fielders in the squad missed a couple of easy catches in the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-news/womens-asia-cup-2022-where-to-watch-live-streaming-squads-venues-fixtures-and-all-you-need-to-know-4890/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Asia Cup</a> final and that proves how inconsistent they are on the field.
Except for Shoaib Malik, no fielders currently feature in the list of the top 20 most catches in T20I history. They have enough quality in batting and bowling but the team needs to improve massively in fielding as this has become one of the most important aspects of playing the game of cricket.
Mohammad Rizwan, as a keeper, has done well for Pakistan recently. Captain Babar Azam is also a good fielder. However, due to the big grounds down under, everyone will be tested as fitness can be an issue for the Pakistan team during the T20 World Cup.

Just five years back, India was considered to be one of the best fielding units in the world but things have changed now. The players do give their best but the result at the end of the day doesn’t really favour the Men in Blue. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-news/im-pretty-sure-hes-not-far-from-his-best-rohit-sharma-on-harshal-patels-recent-struggles-in-death-overs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rohit Sharma</a>, the captain of the Indian side is third on the list of most catches by a cricketer in the history of T20I cricket but these days, he looks slow on the field and that’s why the opponent keeps on building pressure.
The team will miss the service of Ravindra Jadeja in the match, who arguably is one of the best fielders in the world. Their poor fielding standards was on display in the Asia Cup as well when Arshdeep dropped an easy catch against Pakistan in the super four of the competition. The bowlers are pretty average fielders as well and thus, there are concerns among fans before the mega tournament.&nbsp;
