1. Andre Russell - Kolkata Knight Riders

Andre Russell is undoubtedly one of the best allrounders in the T20 circuit at the moment. The 34-year-old has been a legend of the game in the shortest format and this year’s IPL was an example of how good the Jamaica-born is.

Russell played in 14 games for the Kolkata Knight Riders and piled up 335 runs at an outstanding strike rate of 174.48. On the bowling front, he took 17 wickets for his side. The veteran allrounder has been a destructor with the bat and his batting might was also on display in the recently culminated The Hundred competition too.

Russell played six games for Manchester Originals and scored 148 runs at a strike rate of 168.18. Despite Russell’s pedigree, he failed to break into the West Indies team for the upcoming global event.

On his notable absence CWI chief selector Desmond Haynes said “We're still not convinced yet, he's not performing as well as we would like to see him in the competition. I think in the situation with Andre Russell, we've just decided to move on, and look for someone who's in form, and doing well in the T20 format."
