3. Chris Jordan
Chris Jordan was seen as the answer to Chennai Super Kings’ death over woes but in the limited opportunities that he got, Jordan failed to impress. The 33-year-old is known as a death-over specialist but he wasn’t trusted with the responsibility after a few games.
Jordan played four matches for Chennai in IPL 2022 and picked up two wickets in the process. His economy rate of 10.52 was also on the higher side and thus Chennai eventually decided to bench him.
However, his performance for England has been good over the years. In the 81 T20Is that Jordan has played thus far, he has taken 90 wickets at an economy rate of 8.67. Since he is an asset at the death, Jordan is going to be an important figure for the England team in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
