9. Umar Gul
Umar Gul is the only bowler who became the leading wicket-taker in consecutive two instalments of the T20 World Cup. In the 2007 edition, he got 13 wickets in seven matches at an economy of 5.60 while in 2009, he helped Pakistan win the title with his disciplined bowling.
In his team’s sensational World Cup victory, the pacer had chipped in with 13 wickets in seven games at an impressive economy of 6.44. Featuring five T20 World Cups played from 2007 to 2014, Gul played 24 matches for Pakistan and accumulated 35 wickets at an economy of 7.30.
