2. Chris Woakes
Chris Woakes has been a consistent performer in white-ball cricket. Talking about the shortest format, the veteran pacer has featured in 22 T20Is and taken 23 wickets at an economy of 7.79. Also, he is more than handy with the bat and has been striking at 145.78 for England.
The 33-year-old has the ability to make the ball talk at the start of the innings and has been amongst the wickets in the IPL arena as well. Woakes have made 21 appearances in the lucrative T20 tournament and has bagged 30 wickets at an economy of 8.97.
MI struggled to take wickets with the new ball in the last season and was pretty thin on the lower-order batting as well. Woakes' addition could solve both these problems and thus, Mumbai Indians could try to rope in the bowling all-rounder in the upcoming mini-auction.
