9. Autobiography of Kevin Pietersen: The Autobiography
‘KP: The Autobiography’ is the memoir of former England cricketer, Kevin Pietersen. During his playing days, he played a fearless brand of cricket and put the opposition under the pump.
In his autobiography, Pietersen opened up on a wide array of topics and some of them were sensitive too. He mentioned that a 'bullying culture' persisted inside the English dressing room. He alleged that the bowlers mocked and derided the fielders of their team in case an opportunity was shelled in the field.
Pietersen also mentioned the parody Twitter account 'KP Genius' at length. He alleged that the account was run by certain players, who were a part of the England dressing room, and that made him unhappy.
The South Africa-born also admitted the mistakes he made during 'textgate'. The controversy happened when Pietersen was involved in texting a South African player who described Andrew Strauss as a 'doos' during South Africa's tour of England in 2012.
Pietersen’s autobiography was originally published on October 9, 2014.
