8. Theertha Satish (United Arab Emirates)

Last month, the Emirates Cricket Board named wicket-keeper batter Theertha Satish as their skipper for the Under-19 World Cup. In 2021, she debuted for the UAE senior women’s team and has played 33 T20I matches thus far. Showing her brilliance with the bat, the wicket-keeper batter has notched up 823 runs with six half-centuries at a strike rate of 109.58.

In the ACC Women’s T20 Championship played in Malaysia last year, the left-hander looked magnificent with 170 runs in six matches at a strike rate of 113.33. Her batting efforts played a vital role in the success of the UAE.

In the final game too, Satish smashed 55 runs off 42 deliveries against Malaysia to take her team home comfortably. Considering her vast experience and talent, the U19 team will also need her to have a blast in the forthcoming competition.
