2. Abdur Razzak
Abdur Razzak, one of the finest left-arm spinners, led the Bangladesh spin attack for a number of years. In his ODI debut against Hong Kong in 2004, Razzak announced his arrival with figures of 3/17. Soon, he featured in his maiden Test and T20I as well in 2006.
The cunning spinner returned as the team’s top wicket-taker with 13 scalps in nine games of ODI World Cup 2007, including match-winning figures of 3/38 against India. In 2010, Razzak became the first left-arm spinner to pick up a hat-trick in the 50-over format against Zimbabwe.
A couple of years later, the skilful spinner became the first Bangladesh bowler to take 200 ODI wickets. Making a comeback after four years to play only a solitary Test match in 2018, he finished with a five-for against Sri Lanka. Currently, Razzak is serving as one of the senior selectors on the Bangladesh cricket board.
