Australia’s young batting sensation <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-players/jake-fraser-mcgurk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jake Fraser-Mcgurk</a> was one of the biggest attractions of the IPL 2025 mega auction. The star batter had worked wonders for Delhi Capitals in the previous season and had many sides after him. In the end, Punjab Kings won the bidding battle for him, which caused Capitals to raise the RTM paddle.
After PBKS put forth a bid of INR 9 crore, Delhi accepted the terms and roped in the attacking Australian batter for another season. With nine games played, McGurk scored 330 runs and maintained an average of 36.67 in the IPL 2024, and he will be expected to run riot once more.

After the bidding battle was won by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Punjab Kings (PBKS) matched their bid at a whopping INR 18 crore and retained his services.&nbsp;
Arshdeep has been a big part of the PBKS franchise since his IPL debut in 2019 and the side will hope that he can once again impress with his spells in the 18th edition of the tournament as well.
