 3. Tabraiz Shamsi

Tabraiz Shamsi is a prime bowler for the Proteas in the limited-over formats. Riding on his heroics, the side has won many crucial contests. In the IPL, he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in 2016 and 2021 respectively. However, the left-arm spinner was unable to weave magic with the ball, only picking three wickets in five matches, at an economy of 9.05.

After missing the 2022 edition of the tournament, he was looking to make a comeback in the 2023 season. At the mini-auction, he went under the hammer with his base price of INR 1 crore, but the 32-year-old went unsold as he was ignored by the franchises.

The spinner has a vast experience in the T20 format as he has played a lot of league cricket.  For his national side South Africa too, he has taken 73 wickets in 59 games, at a fabulous economy of 7.14. However, his experience and brilliant numbers couldn’t help him to get acquired by the franchises in the 2023 edition of the tournament.
