2. Mohsin Khan

Mohsin Khan belongs to the left-arm medium fast category, which the Indian team finds difficult to face in international games. He was a part of the Mumbai Indians set-up for quite some time and they were keeping an eye on him.

But sadly for the fans, he couldn't get a single match. Last year, with LSG coming into the IPL, he was bought by them. He played 9 games for them picking up 14 wickets at an economy of under 6 and a strike rate close to 15.

His economical bowling in the second half was quite a challenging task for any bowler to pull off, but he did that pretty well. Since then, he has been the talk of the town. He was sent to NCA for some medical attention but unfortunately hasn't recovered fully from it since then.

He underwent surgery and was eager to represent LSG, but isn't participating in this year's edition. Since Zaheer Khan hung his boots, India is still in search of a left-arm pacer to fill his shoes.

India tried the likes of Jaydev Unadkat, Barinder Sran, and Khaleel Ahmed but none of them failed to deliver as per the expectations. Mohsin is showing some promise for the future.

What has stood out the most about him is how calm and composed he has been while executing his bowling plans. He bowled in the powerplay and also in the death overs for LSG in the 2022 edition. First he needs to get back to bowling fully, then proceed further to be match-ready.
