It was a festive time in the Parsi Community when Arzan was named as a standby player for the England Tour of 2021 which included the WTC final and five Tests. Thanks to his Ranji Trophy success which led him to the Indian dressing room.

His smooth bowling action, and natural ability to bring the ball back in, make him a dangerous customer with the ball. He has had success in limited overs and is also proving his multi-format capabilities. But except for that India call-up, we hardly see his name being discussed among selectors.

He largely prioritizes red-ball cricket, and idolizes Zaheer Khan. Recently, Jaydev Unadkat made his comeback into the Test squad. If Arzan comes into the scheme of things he will add a new dimension to the formidable bowling attack. He needs to be groomed and should be made a part of India 'A' fixtures in first-class matches at least. He hasn't featured in the IPL yet.

It's high time selectors take a look at Arzan. Maybe after the upcoming WTC final, we can get to see some fresh faces and Arzan might be one of them.
