2. Pragyan Ojha 4/21 against Bangladesh
The left-arm orthodox spinner Pragyan Ojha had a brilliant T20I debut for team India. He currently holds the record for best bowling figures by an Indian spinner in T20Is. He was once considered an amazing talent.
Ojha made his T20I debut for India against Bangladesh in the 2009 T20 World Cup. Ojha bowled a match-winning spell of four wickets while conceding just 21 runs against the Bangla Tigers. He dismissed Junaid Siddique, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, and Mashrafe Mortaza. He was extremely good with his variations.
Pragyan’s spell made India win the game by a margin of 25 runs. He was awarded the Player of the Match for his impressive outing. However, Ojha was not able to play a lot of games after his debut, he went on to play just five more T20Is for India and finished with ten scalps. Ojha is now a part of the IPL governing council and represents the Indian Cricketers Association.
