India's former skipper Sourav Ganguly was born in Kolkata on July 8, 1972, to a wealthy family. From taking up football to quickly picking cricket as a profession. Ganguly led the team to iconic moments, including the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy win and the 2003 World Cup final. The southpaw previously co-owned ISL football club ATK Mohun Bagan and has taken up his entrepreneurial roots, promoting investment in Bengal, including a steel plant in Midnapore. Appointed West Bengal’s brand ambassador by Mamata Banerjee, Ganguly displays leadership, through sportsmanship with business strategies. He has also served as BCCI's president and works closely with the Cricket Association of Bengal.

Ravindra Jadeja, who hails from Navagam Ghed, Jamnagar, Gujarat, is a celebrated Indian cricketer. Raised in a Rajput family, Jadeja had early struggles with his father, a watchman, who envisioned an Army career for him, but cricket was his true calling. Married to Revaba Jadeja, an MLA from Jamnagar North, the cricketer lives in Jamnagar, practising his roots. Known for his iconic sword celebration, reflecting his Rajput pride, Jadeja also practices horse riding often.
