4. Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj will play a pivotal role in the competition with his bowling. In the absence of veterans Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah, his responsibility will be to provide early breakthroughs to the side. In 2022, Siraj toured the West Indies for the first time and took five wickets in three games at an economy of 3.57.
In the upcoming series, he will look to wreak havoc on the Caribbean batters with his pace and swing. The pitches in West Indies are known for helping fast bowlers and considering this fact, his endeavours will be to take advantage of the conditions and deliver excellent numbers to the team with the ball.
This year, Siraj has grabbed 19 wickets in just eight games at an economy of 4.61. During the Sri Lanka series in January, he became the highest wicket-taker in the three-match ODI series, clinching nine wickets in three matches at an economy of 4.05.
