New Zealand batted brilliantly on a sluggish surface at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium against India in the finals of the Champions Trophy 2025. With a combined effort, the New Zealander batting unit racked up a total of 251-7 on the board after 50 overs. Daryl Mitchell (63 off 101) and Michael Bracewell (53 off 40) were the best performers for the Kiwis on Sunday in the ongoing contest.

Meanwhile, India need to chase down 252 runs in the allotted 50 overs to lift the coveted silverware for the second time, after winning it last in 2013 where they beat Alastair Cook's England, led by MS Dhoni. If the Men in Blue pull off this chase, it will become the second-best in terms of highest successful run-chases in the history of Champions Trophy finals, since the tournament's inception in 1998.
