The IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025 mega auction is looming right on the horizon. The mega event is all set to be held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. 5. 125.2cr - Sunil Narine

Veteran West Indies spinner Sunil Narine has played his fair share of matches in the IPL. A regular for Kolkata Knight Riders, Narine has demolished bowlers as an opener and bamboozled the batters with his wily spin. Narine sits in fifth place in the list of players who have earned most through the IPL, having earned INR 125.2 crore. 

4. 143cr - Ravindra Jadeja

Veteran India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been a stalwart of Indian cricket. He has also showcased his skills in the IPL as well, mostly through his performances for Chennai Super Kings. With a lifetime earning of INR 143 crore, Jadeja sits in fourth place in the list.

3. 192.8 cr - MS Dhoni

Former India skipper MS Dhoni occupies third spotr in the list. Having led Chennai Super Kings to five IPL titles, Dhoni has earned INR 192.8 crore through the IPL auction over the years, and ahead of the IPL 2025, the veteran was retained by CSK as an uncapped player for INR 4 crore. 

2. 210.9 crore - Rohit Sharma

Star India batter Rohit Sharma has been one of the highest earners in the tournament’s history. Rohit was retained by Mumbai Indians for a whopping INR 16.3 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction and has earned a total of INR 210.9 crore in the league so far, which makes him the second-highest earner in the league history.

1. 214.6cr - Virat Kohli

Ace India batter Virat Kohli is the highest earner from the IPL , having earned a whopping INR 214.6 crore through his continued appearances for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He was retained by RCB for INR 21 crore ahead of the IPL 2025.
