Women's T20 World Cup 2023: 5 players who can win Player of the Tournament award
Certain top-drawer players could take the T20 carnival in South Africa by storm with their exploits.
4. Amelia Kerr
Amelia Kerr has been a bankable name in the international arena. She has featured in 56 T20Is and 565 runs at a strike rate of 105.41. On the bowling front, the 22-year-old has picked up 55 wickets at an economy of 5.87. She has been superb in ODIs too, notching up 1362 runs in 59 matches and bagging 77 wickets at an economy of 4.45.
Kerr has played blistering knocks in the middle order and helped change the momentum of the game in the favour of the White Ferns. Moreover, the flamboyant cricketer is a wily customer with the ball and has dented the opposition at regular intervals.
Over the years, she has emerged as a match-winner for New Zealand with both bat and ball. She has the potential to set the T20 extravaganza in South Africa ablaze with her showings and therefore, the ace all-rounder could be one of the candidates for the Player of the Tournament award.
