All the participating nations gave their all on the cricket field and courtesy of which, fans witnessed some breathtaking action. After over two weeks of tussle, Australia took the stage alongside South Africa in the summit clash of the T20 carnival and the Aussies emerged victorious, trumping Sune Luus &amp; Co. by 19 runs to grab their sixth T20 world title.

She made six appearances for South Africa in the competition and picked up eight wickets at a superb economy of 5.86.
Ismail brought her A-game into play in the crunch semi-final clash against England. She dismissed courageous stroke makers, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cricket-appeal/wpl-2023-5-players-who-turned-out-to-be-steal-deals-in-auction/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sophia Dunkley</a> and Alice Capsey, during the powerplay to bring her team back into the game. Then she showed impeccable death-over skills and bowled a brilliant final over, getting rid of Heather Knight and booking a ticket to the finals.
