Pakistan are in a perilous situation in this tournament. After their historic World Cup run chase against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, the Babar Azam-led team faced solid hammerings from India, Australia, and Afghanistan, and currently, they are on a backfoot with two wins and three losses in five matches.

Critics aren’t hesitating in attacking Babar Azam and his team for failing in all departments of the game and witnessing all these developments, it’s important for the Green Army to make a comeback in the tournament and qualify for the semi-final. After their eight-wicket defeat at the hands of Afghanistan, critics came heavily on Pakistan’s horrendous fielding show.

In the crucial contest against the Afghan side, Pakistan’s sloppy fielding irked their coach Mickey Arthur, and cricketing legends Wasim Akram and Moin Khan as well. Wasim also questioned the Pakistan team’s fitness after their loose fielding against Afghanistan. Earlier, in the game against Australia, Usama Mir dropped David Warner and the aggressive left-handed opener punished the 1992 champions with his magnificent ton.
