1. India - 9/10
India are looking exceptional under Rohit Sharma in this tournament. Playing three matches in the competition, thus far, the Men in Blue have emerged victorious in all. Currently, they are on the top of the points table, and in this success, their bowlers have played an instrumental role.
In the six-wicket victory against Australia in Chennai, their spin trio of Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravichandran Ashwin looked spectacular and bagged six wickets jointly. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj also delivered breakthroughs when needed. The sensational bowling efforts contained the Aussies on 199 runs in 49.3 overs.
India bowlers exuded confidence against Afghanistan on Delhi’s batting surface as well. Riding on Bumrah’s four-wicket haul, the hosts stopped the Afghan team at a score of 272. Hardik Pandya also got two wickets in the game and supported Bumrah to reinforce the pace attack.
