4. Parshavi Chopra
Before the 2023 U-19 World Cup, Parshavi Chopra was an unknown name in international cricketing circles but after the tournament, she hit headlines with her brilliant bowling performances. The 16-year-old ended up becoming the second-leading wicket-taker in the competition.
She also looked outstanding with the ball taking 11 wickets in six games at an economy of 3.66. Witnessing her potential at the mega event, UP Warriorz (UPW) signed the leg-spinner for her base price of INR 10 lakh. Before the auction, it was expected that UP could show faith in her due to her connection with Uttar Pradesh as a local player.
In the competition, she will play alongside international spinners like Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone. Under the guidance of both renowned bowlers, the leggie could damage the batting line-ups of the opponents on the spinning tracks of India.
