In the last few years, Deepti Sharma has displayed her best and become one of the key players in the India Women’s squad. Showcasing her potential as an all-rounder, Deepti has won numerous games for the team. The 25-year-old is holding the number two position in the ICC Women’s T20I all-rounder rankings. 

In the 2022-23 Asia Cup, Sharma became the Player of the Tournament for her incredible contribution to India’s seventh title win. The swashbuckling India all-rounder piled 94 runs with her bat in eight matches, at a remarkable strike rate of 132.39. However, her best came as a bowler as she became the leading wicket-taker in the competition after castling 13 batters in eight matches at a frugal economy of 3.33. 

With her capability and WT20I figures, she became one of the most-demanded players in WPL. The amazing all-rounder earned her WPL contract from UP Warriorz (UPW) at an enormous sum of INR 2.6 crore. With this signing, she became the third-most expensive pick in the auction.
