4. Tess Flintoff
The Melbourne-born cricketer Tess Flintoff is a key member of the Melbourne Stars squad. In the 2022-23 edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), she played the role of an all-rounder for her team. With 116 runs in 11 matches at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 165.71, Flintoff exuded confidence as a middle-order batter.
Talking about her bowling performance, the 19-year-old took four wickets at an economy of 7.51. This February, she will also go under the hammer at the WPL auction in Mumbai. Her base price will be INR 10 lakh, but with her impressive numbers in the previous season of the WBBL, Flintoff can bag a decent deal at the event.
The youngster’s overall WBBL numbers are also spectacular as she has amassed 243 runs in 25 innings of 50 matches at a strike rate of 122.73. With the ball, she has clinched 26 wickets at an economy of 7.53. In November 2022, she scored her maiden fifty in the tournament against Adelaide Strikers Women in a winning cause.
